About Bongani Mthombeni-Möller
Bongani is a seasoned Professional and Leader with a Masters in Chemical Engineering, and other Executive development certifications. She's driven, entrepreneurial, and passionate about business, people, leadership, infrastructure, engineering, corporate governance and empowerment. She has worked in Infrastructure Development for 15 years, across various sectors including Energy, Oil and Gas, Transportation and Urban Development. Bongani was Managing Director for a specialist Engineering Consultancy that predominantly provided solutions in Nuclear and the Energy Sector. Thereafter she joined a Global Multidisciplinary Engineering Company as Strategic Business Development Executive, and later proceeded to lead the Gauteng Business Operation for the firm.

Her leadership experience allows her to operate at Enterprise Leadership level, irrespective of business sector and her Chemical Engineering and Business background has given her the proficiency to think strategically and solve complex challenges, while driving organisations forward. She is currently the Director for Smart Mobility, at Royal HaskoningDHV and is responsible for leading the team to shape sustainable transport networks for Southern Africa in Road, Rail and Maritime. She is passionate about advancing Mobility in Africa by offering innovative solutions and harnessing the cutting edge and smart technologies we have at our disposal to achieve this.

Bongani is also the Chair of the Mobility Centre for Africa (MCA), an organization that focuses on driving the future mobility agenda in Southern Africa in partnership with industry and government. Bongani chairs the UCT Department of Civil Engineering Advisory Board.
